Last updated 2026-10-28. This policy covers the Bit & Bearing hotel maintenance application operated by BIT & BEARING LLC (doing business as Bit & Bearing).
We collect the name, role and mobile phone number of hotel staff members, which their hotel's management enters into the application, and the maintenance requests, work orders, notes and photos staff create while using it. When you request a sign-in code we record the time of the request and whether the code was used.
Your mobile number is used only to send you a one-time sign-in passcode when you request one on the sign-in page, and to identify you inside the application. Maintenance records are used to run the hotel's maintenance work.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Text messages are delivered through a messaging provider acting on our behalf solely to deliver them.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving sign-in codes, or ask support@bitandbearing.com or your hotel manager to remove your number. Reply HELP for help.
Staff records are kept while you work with the hotel and removed when management removes you from the staff list. Questions go to support@bitandbearing.com or your hotel manager.
